Meet John

John William began working part-time at Parsons while in junior high school. He joined the firm full-time in 2006 and became investment-registered in 2007, quickly acquiring his Series 7, Series 66, and Series 24 registrations. John William is experienced in all aspects of the business, and his primary role during his first 6-7 years was running the investment operations side of the business. Currently, his main role is that of wealth advisor, and most of his time is focused on face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects.

John William grew up on the Coast and is an ever-present fixture in the community, currently as the head coach of the Half Moon Bay High School Boys’ Varsity Basketball team, in addition to running his own successful basketball program for Coastside youth of all ages. His innovative, engaging coaching style was even profiled in a 2020 USA Today article. He has also been voted into the Half Moon Bay High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He is also a big advocate of financial literacy for youth and teaches Financial Basics courses at the local high schools.

John William is a 2006 graduate of Claremont McKenna College, with a dual degree in Accounting and Psychology, along with a Leadership Sequence. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, yoga, golf, watching sports, and spending time with long-time girlfriend Polina and their dog Muggsy. You may have seen John William and Polina’s search for their first home chronicled on the popular series “House Hunters” on the Home & Garden TV Network.
