Meet Rufus

Rufus came into the Parsons fold in January of 2024 as a young puppy. Born in Sacramento and now living in Volcano, Rufus loves the snowy foothill weather; rain, on the other hand, is a different story. Contrary to popular Basset Hound stereotypes, he is quite the active ball of energy and loves playing and roughhousing with his canine pals, Prince and Coco. His other hobbies include cuddling, “talking”, and eating just about anything he can find (bacon is his favorite, but he’ll even settle for paper in a pinch). You can usually find Rufus either peacefully snoozing or wrestling with Coco in the background of John’s Zoom meetings.
